Lorí is multi-talented and multi-faceted. Starting her career as photographer, then running a successful race-horse stud farm for 10 years, only giving it up due to pregnancy. She decided to swap feeding foals to feeding her son! During this time she worked in the IT industry and continued to study, completed her degree in I.T., as well as her Master Prac in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), which she completed at the same time.
The more she studied, the more she knew she needed to study to constantly improve her knowledge, keeping up with world trends, and her expertise!
She also had her own computer company, worked for a large IT organisation (at the same time), and continued her studies, which netted her a B.A. (in Business Admin), Master Prac in NS (Neuro-Semantics), became an internationally recognised Trainer (of NLP and NS), qualified as an ACMC (internationally recognised Associate Certified Meta-Coach), an international Identity Compass® Consultant, and Speaker (Competent Toast Master).
Mind Focus (www.MindFocus.co.za), her Coaching and Training Company was formed in 2003, after her completion of studies in San Diego and South Africa with two of the worlds leaders in Coaching and Training - Dr M. Hall (USA) and Ms M. Duval (Aus).
As her son had been diagnosed with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (in 2000), Lorí did extensive research into what ADD and ADHD was all about, as there were many people with opinions - but she needed the facts. She discovered and met many people involved in various aspects of dealing with ADD and ADHD, not least of which are world-renowned authors and coaches.
This became her burning desire - to help others, by facilitating them through the process she underwent - and battled without professional help. Since those days Lorí has had plenty of coaching and has overcome her obstacles and challenges.
