Fanie has had a long career of leadership positions, amongst others 22 years as a senior manager in The Presidency of South Africa.
 

His coaching and mentoring experience comes from his career as a leader and manager and also from his involvement, over more than 25 years, in projects aimed to guide adolescents in reaching their full potential.
 

He obtained a number of coaching qualifications. In 2009 he qualified with the International Society of Neuro-Semkantics as an Associakted Certified Meta-Coach (ACMC).
