I am a qualified leadership coach who can help you deal with your personal challenges and find a stronger sense of purpose. My aim is to help you find true meaning in your work or personal life and to unlock your creative source of energy. I work with individuals, groups and business teams.
I have a unique approach which brings together sound theory and practice. People only change if they experience or discover something for themselves. Combining years of practical experience with sound coaching principles to manifest change and growth, my business model covers a focused spectrum of personal development.... self awareness, finding purpose, personal leadership style, interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, management skills (such as delegation, dealing with change, self motivation, motivating others, interpersonal dynamics), and organisational culture.
I am a qualified Executive Leadership Coach who also studied Business Management, NLP, Kinesiology and various alternative spiritual fields and ancient wisdom. Before coaching I spent 25 years with one of South Africa's largest and most successful advertising agencies DraftFCB (the last 10 as Chairman of the Johannesburg office). After 25 Years in the business environment, together with B Comm Marketing (Hons) and MBL degrees I decided to continue studying and am in the process of qualifying as a Logotherapist (Logotherapy studies the work and theories of Victor Frankl, a holocaust survivor and Psychotherapist who developed Logotherapy ? a non intrusive, non regressive therapy helping someone find meaning in life.)
I have travelled extensively and met some crazy people in my life; my recreational passion is experiencing physical and spiritual adventures - doing extra long endurance events - 3 ABSA Cape Epic multi stage mountain bike races, 6 Iron Man events (3,8km swim, 180km bike ride followed by a 42km run), visiting Nepal to spend time in the mountain monasteries and many more. In 2010 I took an expedition to climb Aconcagua (7000m) in South America in aid of the One School at a Time initiative. We raised R533, 000 with this expedition!
The next challenge is to climb Cho Oyu, at 8201m the 6th highest mountain in the world. This expedition will again serve the purpose of raising funds for ?One School at a Time? and be a field laboratory for developing leadership development models.
I can relate to all kinds of pressure and take pleasure in guiding people through tough situations. Combining the physical, mental and spiritual dimensions of life to help someone find more meaning and purpose in what they do.
